In November 2018, at 2.5 years old, one of my sons was diagnosed with Very Early Onset Irritable Bowel Disease, presenting mostly as Ulcerative Colitis.  When he was diagnosed he spent 6-8 months in and out of Lurie’s Children’s Hospital.

I was able to stay with him and needed to have my (at the time) 3-month old son with us. Living at the hospital with both my young sons wasn’t easy and led to a lot of time for reflection.

I was also diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2013 but before that, in 2003, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. As a result, I was already familiar with gut issues.

Faced now with the reality of my son’s diagnosis, I was on a quest to search for solutions. I investigated a variety of products and went down more rabbits holes than I can remember.

Then, I came across Plexus for gut healing. although as of right now, it has not been the answer for my son, it has been beneficial toward my gut health. Perhaps at some point, it will play a part in my son’s ongoing gut health.

It is a component in making sure I am healthy and healing my gut. I know this is going to be a long journey for my son and I needed to make sure I am in good health for him as well as my husband and 4 other children.

I began using Plexus in February 2019 and have been using it ever since. I’ve shared my success and many health benefits with my husband and children, along with my brother, sisters, mother, nephews, brother-in-law, and friends.

New products have continuing to come out since I have joined and together my family members and I have explored each of them.
